On Friday, October 21, 2011, PianoForte’s concert space was transformed into a beautifully intimate cafe while we celebrated the bicentennial of composer Franz Liszt. Guests were treated to a variety of Hungarian-inspired finger foods, Hungarian wines, and a beautiful piano-shaped cake. Internationally renowned pianist Jeffrey Swann played an all-Liszt program, regaling the rapt audience with stories as well as a world-class performance!

All proceeds from the event benefited PianoForte Foundation’s performance and outreach programs.
