PianoForte’s annual Schubertiade Chicago festival takes place each year around the anniversary of Franz Schubert’s birth. It is a free, day-long festival celebrating the music of Franz Schubert and the talented musicians of Chicago. Inspired by Schubert’s own famed music parties, musicians and music lovers gather to enjoy one another’s craft and company in a similar salon atmosphere.
